The franchisee is solely responsible for their own financing including the cost of travel (if required, at your discretion) to visit or for training at the nearest Samantha's Place, minimal operations supplies, re-usable equipment and fixtures.

It is a requirement that the applicant provide the franchise fee in full and be able to cover these additional costs to provide the minimum standards of a Samantha's Place event. The company does not provide financing for any of the fees or costs listed.

Assuming establishment costs of $1,500, and financing of the franchise fee in full at competitive rates:

• $ 1,500 - Start Up Cash
• $ 10,000 - Borrowed funds
• Canadian personal loan rates currently: 5%
  U.S. personal loan rates currently at: 4.6%

The cost  to finance the "Borrowed funds" over the life of the franchise would be approx. $19 per month.

Remember these costs are estimates only and no reliance should be made on these numbers. The cost of re-usable decorations and theme items will be highest during the first year of operation. The yearly operating cost will be less in subsequent years of the franchise operation. The cost in Start Up Cash is your expense out of pocket during the time prior to your first event ,(during the initial start up and training phase which is anticipated 90 days after signing of the franchise agreement) this amount could vary slightly from geographic location to location.
